Still on the hunt for my licensed Bailey’s replacement since it has apparently been discontinued. Bones' version of Irish Cream has a lovely flavor. It is an absolutely wonderful weekend coffee. It does not have the alcohol overtone so it does not taste “exactly like” Bailey’s, but then, (unlike the other brand I tried previously) it doesn’t claim to.
But I am REALLY liking the flavor of this coffee just as a coffee, it’s delightful. Creamy, bold but not in-your-face, full of flavor, smooth finish with no aftertaste.
I am super pleased with the packaging as well. The bag comes with a little half-clover flap that when it is lifted, it’s a pull strip. It opens easily and neat even for my older somewhat arthritic hands. It opens to reveal a sort of pocket AND BONUS, it is RESEALABLE.
It’s also EASY to reseal. I have arguments with some brands of resealable food storage bags because they are impossible to close. One particular vegetarian product and one store brand's cheese slices and shreds are a great example. I usually wind up putting everything in better bags with a slider on them--including my bags of coffee. No need to do that with Bones' coffee.
I haven’t tried it yet. However, I love Frogs breath!!! Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered whole bean instead of ground. I will have to grind it myself
It has a unique creamy flavor to it. I’d say it’s not as Irish creamy as I wish it could be. I don’t think the cow was Irish. Tastes better with a spoonful of dark honey and coconut oil. It’s quality coffee and I would buy it again.
I cant wait to open this one up, I can smell it through the bag and the scent is delicious
